A little bit about Pilates…
To me Pilates is so much more than choreography… It’s personal. It’s about the individual rather than ‘one size fits all’. It’s a movement practice that gives you what you need physically and mentally to help you live the life you love.
By moving in a fun AND challenging way that creates a deeper connection to yourself, your mind and your body, you can bring about real transformation in your (probably hectic!) life. In very simple terms, I want us ALL to live life better and I really believe the self awareness Pilates offers will help you be the best you for decades to come.

A little bit about me…

My Pilates life started about 20 years ago when I was very gym fit yet had a niggly back. I was super stretchy but had no strength in my flexibility until I found Pilates. Understanding anatomy and movement is a constant learning curve and I try my best to stay curious about all aspects of the moving body and wellbeing in general so I can be of better service to both myself and all of you lovely lot. Prior to teaching Pilates I worked in PR and then lived in the South of France working on super yachts-I miss the weather but not the yachts! I’m a real foodie, a bookworm and I love outdoor adventures with my dog Rocco.

I first trained with Polestar Pilates UK in 2011, and I’m fully certified in mat, reformer and the comprehensive repertoire (full studio equipment). I’m also pre/post natal certified, and have specialist qualifications in scoliosis and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Continued professional development is extremely important to me - feel free to ask what current course I’m doing/planning or book I’m geeking out on!
